  • Hours: Fee for Service - Flexible Caseload Building Opportunity in Pacific time zone!
  • Grade Levels: K-12 students
  • Compensation: Starting at $52/hour (commensurate with experience)
  • Location: 100% Remote 
  • Washington ESA Credential Required

 Position Overview:  We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools, helping them develop communication skills and overcome speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in the classroom and other educational settings.
  • Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote speech and language development.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes.
  • Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork.

Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Must hold valid state license as an Occupational Therapist in the state in which you live in in which you are practicing.
  • Must be Registered with the National Board Certification Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Passionate about working with K-12 students in a virtual setting
  • Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric occupational therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, computer skills (including email/ and Microsoft teams)
  • Experience in teletherapy (preferred).
  • Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, handwriting without tears, and other therapeutic modalities (preferred).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods and use a computer keyboard and mouse for typing and navigating software applications.
